Dead Daily is a free daily music game for Grateful Dead fans. Each day, a new clip from a live concert recording is drawn from the Internet Archive's Grateful Dead collection — one of the largest archives of live music in the world. Listen to the clip and guess the year it was recorded. You get four guesses with directional hints after each wrong answer.

The Grateful Dead performed from 1965 to 1995, and their sound changed dramatically across three decades — from the raw psychedelia of the late sixties through the jazz-influenced early seventies, the Brent Mydland era of the eighties, and the final years with Vince Welnick. Learning to hear those differences is the whole game.
